Golf apparel wearers may choose to grow their beards.Players hoping to keep up to date with all that is popular in the golf fashion world may wish to consider the possibility of teaming their outfit with a well-kept beard.

Lee Kynaston, online grooming editor at menshealth.co.uk and blogger at The Grooming Guru, has identified facial hair as a top trend among stylish men at present.

The expert noted looking after facial fuzz is something that should be taken seriously and never underestimated.

"Don't be deceived by a beard - these days they're often maintained to within an inch of their life. A decent beard requires a lot of care and attention," he explained.

Mr Kynaston pointed out waxing and body hair trimming have also leapt in popularity among men wanting to look and feel their best of late, which is something golf clothing fans may wish to bear in mind.

One famous player to recently sport a beard was Tiger Woods, who opted for a neatly-trimmed effort that hugged his jawline.
