Amateurs have been advised on what golf clothing to wear by one venue.

Comfortable golf apparel has been highlighted as a must-have for beginners taking part in a forthcoming series of lessons.Scandasia.com reports that players taking to the fairways at Keppel Club Driving Range in Singapore have been given guidance over what golf clothing to wear on the course.
"Please do wear comfortable shoes, such as running shoes if you do not have golf shoes when practicing at the driving range, but only golf shoes are allowed on the golf course," said the venue.
However, equipment is taken care of by the club, meaning that players have much more time to spend on their golf apparel.
The club suggested players take part in the lessons dressed in a pique shirt and knee-length Capri pants or shorts.
Female players at the Golf Center Des Plaines took to the driving range in full golf clothing as part of a warm-up event last week, the Des Plaines Trib Local reports.
