Black could be the colour of choice for women mulling over what golf clothing to sport when out on the fairways.While practicality is perhaps the main factor females should consider while competing, looking good on the green might be something they want to keep in mind.
And black - famed for its purported slimming ability - might be the perfect selection, as the shade is not only trendy, but also suitable for most types of weather.
Indeed, Argy Koutsothanasis, fashion director for Fitness Magazine wrote in her Golf Digest Woman blog: "It's the ultimate cheat, but it works. Who doesn't look sleek, slim and stylish in head-to-toe black?"
She added the introduction of moisture-wicking fabrics means the hue can help keep wearers cool on sunny days.
And women competitors may wish to team black with more feminine golf apparel, as Khaki Crusader recently noted this style of dress is likely to prove popular for females over the next year or so.
