Bright, colour-wicked golf clothing has been called dated by one pundit.Writing for the Khaki Crusader golf apparel blog, columnist Annemarie Dodd welcomed the industry's move away from these items.
"Nothing's going to look as dated this season as bright colour-blocked wicking shirts. They served their purpose as high-watt introductions to the latest technical fabrics," she said.
Ms Dodd went on to welcome this "shift in aesthetic" and claimed single-shaded golf apparel is "one of the better" golf fashion trends this year.
She explained that with blocked shirts, the fit is emphasised and noted those who wear oversized golf clothing coloured in this way are in for "a big fail".
Ms Dodd also made note of the increasing amount of attire being produced that mimics the "new minimalism" of street wear.
Earlier in the month, Golf Channel columnist Win McMurry made note of the huge range of choices available in golf apparel this year.
