A golf fashion writer has criticised bulky clothing

Bulky golf clothing has been criticised by one writer in a new guide to golf apparel for the winter months. In a recent post for golf fashion blog the Khaki Crusader, Sean Hotchkiss noted that as we move in to the cold winter months, wearing more layers becomes a necessity.
However, he criticised the way in which wrapping up warm left you "looking and swining like the Michelin Man".
"The last thing you want on the golf course is bulk. Anything that detracts from range of motion, visibility, dexterity, etc is an issue," Mr Hotchkiss said.
He went on to state that the key to warm winter attire lies in "light and efficient layering".
The writer also revealed he is a "huge advocate" of full-zip items, which allow layering for cold winter mornings, in addition to being easily removable, should the weather improve.
In a previous post for the site, Annmarie Dodd pondered the infallible popularity of the white polo shirt, both in golf and other sports.
