Celebrities will wear golf apparel at a forthcoming event.

A host of celebrities are to sport golf apparel in a forthcoming tournament.In a recent Fox Sports guide to events in the new year, columnist Mark Cardon reported on the Plantation Celebrity Golf Classic, held at the Riverwood Golf Club in Port Charlotte.
Scheduled to begin on February 10th 2011, participants will turn up one day early to take part in the Pairings Party - which will be held at the clubhouse.
Mr Cardon revealed that a number of stars from the sporting world will be taking to the fairways, including NBA player Jerry Lucas, fellow basketball players Sam Jones and Cazzie Russel, in addition to baseballers Lee Smith, Jim Kaat and Joe Morgan.
American Football players from the NFL will also be making an appearance, as well as veteran hockey celebrity Stan Mikita.
This follows an all-star golf tournament which saw players from the Cincinnati Reds take to the fairways in golf apparel in Arizona.
