Colour forms an important part of golf apparel choice.
Published: 27 October 2011
Individuals considering what look suits them best while out on the fairways may want to make colour a top priority when choosing their golf apparel. The shade of golf clothing will form a significant part of the aesthetics a player's outfit is portraying, as selecting the right hues can make a competitor look stylish and cool, while the wrong shades can leave them feeling uncoordinated and awkward.
Another reason why the colour of golf fashion should be thought over is that different tones suit certain kinds of weather more than others.
Indeed, men's fashion expert David Yarbrough noted for Chron.com that: "Solids are the safe play from head to toe. Light colours help reflect sunlight, while dark colours absorb it."
The specialist explained he often prefers to sport brighter hues as noon approaches and darker tones when play is closer to sunrise.
One player known for his choice of colourful golf apparel is Rickie Fowler, who was the PGA Tour Rookie of the Year in 2010.
