MMO Site reports that free-to-play specialist gamigo has launched closed beta testing for its forthcoming massively multiplayer simulatior Golfstar.

The online game allows players to take control of a fully-customisable golfer and compete against others from around the world.

Its multilingual server options mean that users from different nations can play together, regardless of what language version of the title they are using.

Another key feature is the massive selection of golf clothing and golf fashion accessories.

"The selection ranges from cool and sporty outfits to standard golf apparel in argyle and with ankle-high socks," said the publication.

Players can also level up their golfer's abilities and earn points to focus on building stamina, control and power.

The game's producer, gaimgo, has worked on a number of free-to-play titles, including Martial Empires, Cultures Online, Fiesta and War of Angels.
