Gaudy golf clothing is a favourite fashion staple for one exceptional young player.Sign On San Diego columnist Tod Leonard recently reported on the story of Kyle Lograsso, an eight-year-old fan who lost his left eye to cancer, despite eventually winning the fight for his life.
Described as obsessed with the sport and Tiger Woods in particular, Kyle boasts "extraordinary" golf skills and also has a penchant for garish golf apparel.
"He wears gaudy golf clothes and loves fedoras, and at Pauma Valley, where actor Bill Murray helped get him an honorary membership, he is adored by the older folks," said Mr Leonard.
Kyle's "beautiful" golf swing was developed simply by watching the professionals on television and then mimicking their style.
In a recent Chapeau Noir golf blog post, Mike McAllister lamented the garish golf offerings contained in yearly catalogues from various apparel manufacturers and questioned the need for the publications in a mostly digital age.
