Glenmuir golf apparel wearer Colin Montgomerie has made an appearance in Doha, Qatar and has confirmed he will be returning to the region again in 2012.The Scot took part in a special HSBC Corporate Golf Day at the Doha Golf Club and claimed he was excited to have returned to the Arab emirate, Gulf News reports.
Montgomerie stated: "It's fantastic to be back on a course we all love to play. I am looking forward to coming back in February to compete as well."
The 48-year-old also reassured fans he is determined to carry on playing at the highest level and is as motivated now as he has been throughout his entire career.
Other competitors reaching the end of their playing days have showed faring well in major tournaments can still happen, Montgomerie added.
The player's achievements in the game so far include more than 40 tournament wins around the world.
