Colin Montgomerie visited competitors in golf clothing for the final of Monty's Monthly Medal.

Glenmuir golf apparel wearer Colin Montgomerie has made a special guest appearance at a fundraising event in Scotland.The Ryder Cup captain went along to the final of Monty's Monthly Medal, which took place at The Carrick on Loch Lomond, the Kirkintilloch Herald reports.
It is supported by Aberdeen Asset Management and has generated thousands of pounds for the Elizabeth Montgomerie Foundation - a charity supporting the construction of two new Maggie's Centres in Lanarkshire and Aberdeen.
Inverness competitor Alistair Henry ran out the winner in his golf clothing after earning a score of 35 points.
Kirkintilloch golfer Bob McCormick said: "Monty's Monthly Medal was a fantastic day. It is not often you get to meet a golfing legend, let alone play alongside one."
He added meeting Montgomerie - who turned professional in 1987 - will be a memory he takes with him for the rest of his life and said it was fantastic for such a famous player to give up his time in such a way.
