Glenmuir golf apparel fan Colin Montgomerie is to host a special golf clinic to help his supporters shore up their game.The Scot will provide a golfing masterclass at Dunning Golf Club on Saturday August 20th between 10:00 and 11:00 BST, offering would-be players the opportunity to receive advice from a seasoned professional, The Courier reports.
Both members and visitors can attend the event, which is £5 to attend and includes entry into a raffle.
Those lucky enough to win the game stand to acquire a set of golf clubs, food vouchers and a fourball at Blairgowrie Golf Club.
Collections will be made on the day of the class, with some of the money generated being donated to the Elizabeth Montgomerie Cancer Foundation.
Montgomerie recently vowed to continue competing at the highest level until 2015, despite his failure to qualify for this year's British Open - the first time he's missed the cut in 22 years - the Sunday Mirror reported.
