Golf apparel manufacturer Glenmuir has unveiled a new cresting service for junior golfers.

The Lanark-based golf clothing company has, for the first time, given clubs the opportunity to ensure the attire of their junior members is coordinated with that of their senior teams.

Glenmuir's new junior collection features a number of items based on popular fixtures from its adult range and includes Rory and Leon boys' shirts - based on the Ralia and Tomatin men's styles - and the Zara girls' shirt.

Speaking at the unveiling of the new line, marketing director for Glenmuir Brian Mair revealed that many clubs have sought such a service.

"This capsule collection means any club can fully co-ordinate the look of its teams or its members, by product designs or just colours," he said.

Founded in Lanark in 1891, Glenmuir started life as a hosiery factory in the village of Kirkfieldbank.

It has supplied shirts and knitwear for the European team at the last 12 Ryder Cup events.
