Glenmuir unveils new golf sweatersNew golf sweaters have been unveiled for the Spring/Summer 2011 collection from Glenmuir.

Billed as an "essential piece of golf clothing", the sleeveless Thornton is created from "supersoft", lightweight cotton and comes in a range of seven colours - all designed to complement the company's existing range of men's garments.

The golf fashion firm has also added to its men's knitwear collection with a set of new tones for its "hugely popular" Ashridge and Jedburgh cotton jumpers.

Commenting on its latest products, Glenmuir hailed the Thornton as a valuable addition to the golf apparel arsenal of any player.

"[It] is a must-have whenever there's a slight chill in the air and its understated design and wide choice of colours makes it a wardrobe essential," said the company.

Earlier in the month, Glenmuir unveiled a new cresting service for junior golfers.

Commenting on the announcement, marketing director for the firm Brian Mair revealed it had been rolled out due to increasing demand from clubs.
