New technical golf clothing has been unveiled by manufacturer Glenmuir. The Lanark-based golf apparel company has revealed its new range of performance golf shirts for the spring/summer period this year.
Hi-tech fabrics are utilised in the collection, which includes the Jackson, Vardon, Consdor, Eagle and Ambrose shirts.
These feature the company's Thermocool, CoolPlus and CoolMax moisture-management materials and also boast UPF15+ sun protection.
The manufacturer explained the ways in which the Hi-Cool system works to complement the performance aspects of the new range.
"Glenmuir's Hi-Cool moisture management system, which gives cotton-based products stretch, comfort and quick-dry wicking performance, appears in the Vardon and Condor," it said.
The collection is available in a range of contemporary colours - including white, hot pink, navy and mango - and Glenmuir claims the Eagle is "destined" to be a hit with younger golfers.
Glenmuir has supplied golf apparel to 12 European Ryder Cup teams and bestowed shirts and knitwear on the victorious side in this year's trans-Atlantic clash.
