Amateur players concerned with their golf fashion have been advised to take to the fairways while sporting a tie.Ryan Moore is often put forward as a professional who is in tune with the cutting edge of golf apparel and those seeking to emulate his attire may wish to opt for a more formal look.
One addition that could make this possible is a tie, which can often promote an air of respectability.
Khaki Crusader columnist Sean Hotchkiss recently hailed this item as a must-have for players seeking to bolster their wardrobe.
He explained that ties can be worn at the office, meaning that amateurs will not have to change before heading to the club for their post-work practice round.
"For most of us the only seasons we could pull off the tie would be in the spring and fall, so now is the time," Mr Hotchkiss said.
Sandra Post, eight-time LPGA champion, recently warned Investment Executive readers about the length of their skirts, noting that many clubs take issue with ones that are cut too short.
