Golf apparel has gone on sale in aid of charity.

A charity sale will feature a range of golf apparel, it has been revealed.The Business Journal recently published an article which reported on the forthcoming Wyndham Championship holiday merchandise event, the proceeds of which will also go to a local support organisation.
Funds from the sale of the golf clothing will go towards the Empty Stocking Fund, a charity group which provides help to needy families in the area, enabling them to buy seasonal gifts for children up to the age of 13.
"The sale runs through December 9th 2010 and features high-end golf apparel," said the publication. "Available from 10:00 until 17:00 GMT each day at the Wyndham Championship offices … merchandise includes shirts [and] hats."
Accessories such as pants, shorts and socks will also be discounted by up to 50 per cent.
A recent article in the Pasadena Star-News reported that players from baseball team the Cincinnati Reds would be sporting golf clothing in aid of charity.
