High fashion is borrowing ideas from golf apparel.

Golf clothing is seemingly having a significant impact on the world of high fashion, with a number of designers turning their attention to the fairways in order to gain inspiration.Marie Claire notes golf apparel is impacting collections in a big way, with labels around the world embracing the style.
In London, Christopher Kane has teamed metallic and floral skirts with cable-knit vests to create a modern golf fashion twist, while Christopher Bailey at Burberry appears to have had the 18-hole game on the brain when he came up with a gold cap complete with pom-pom.
Meanwhile, across the Atlantic Ocean in New York, Alexander Wang has been sending his models out on the catwalks carrying an array of golf bags.
And these occasions are not the only time golf clothing has featured in the fashion world, as designer Muccia Prada recently incorporated the style into her spring and summer menswear collection.
