Golf apparel has been billed as a great Christmas gift.

Golf clothing has been promoted as an excellent festive gift for players of the sport.Writing for Cybergolf, columnist Joel Zuckerman quoted Mark Twain's popular statement that "clothes make the man" and listed a range of themed gifts for golfers.
He claimed that a waterproof and wind-resistant item of golf apparel would make a great present for players taking to the fairways in harsh winter weather.
Similarly, Mr Zuckerman noted that a comfy pair of socks would be a welcome gift for golfers seeking to avoid the blisters associated with walking around a course.
"Blisters, much like the yips, are something a golfer never thinks about. Until they arrive. Then this totally unexpected problem becomes all-consuming," he said.
Mr Zuckerman went on to promote a range of golf apparel, including shoes and windshirts, in addition to a specialised athletic pressure garment by Saucony, which can supposedly improve recovery times between workouts.
This comes after an Online News article revealed that golf gifts from US equipment manufacturer Markers will be helping provide aid for families in need this winter.
