Personality is likely to play an increasingly important role in golf apparel choices, it has been suggested.

Golf fashion in the future is likely to become more homogenous as players attempt to add their own personal touches to their tournament clothes, it has been suggested.Mike McAllister, editor of Chapeau Noir Golf - a blog that examines the golf apparel picks of the game's stars - noted the rather insulated existence of country club culture is being updated.
The industry expert observed that while collared shirts and tailored shorts and trousers are likely to remain favourites on the fairways, off-course influences could begin to work their way into the world of golf clothing.
He noted this approach will help to create some interesting fashion mash-ups when the sport's stars appear at the big tournaments.
One aspect fans may wish to look out for in particular is golf shoes.
Mr McAllister observed: "An entire generation of new golfers don't want to wear the shoes their dad wore to play golf."
