A golf fashion blogger has looked at the trend towards power stripes, which he claims is growing in popularity.Writing for his golf fashion blog, the Khaki Crusader explored the resurgence of brightly-coloured stripes and welcomed their newfound appeal.
He noted that Henrick Stenson had broken out "non-traditional" pinstripes at the WGC HSBC Golf Championships and approved of the player's golf clothing choices.
The Khaki Crusader claimed that one "immediately" thinks of Phil Mickelson's pinstripes, which the player has sported in several major events and predicted more coverage for the golf clothing.
"Power stripes have also made a reappearance in suiting lately, so don't be surprised to see more expansion on this front," he said.
The Khaki Crusader also revealed that he has his own pair of power-striped trousers which he is waiting to "bust out".
