Golf fashion fans can explore a virtual museum.A new virtual museum dedicated to the 18-hole game could be of interest to golf fashion fans eager to see the dress sense adopted by players both past and present.

Former Grampian policeman Gary Dempster has used one of the largest collections of golf memorabilia in Scotland to devise the facility, which he believes is the only one of its kind, the BBC reports.

Mr Dempster said he is now running out of room to store all of the goods, which he began collecting 15 years ago.

He stated: "Because I played golf and I was very keen on watching golf I just couldn't believe that pieces of memorabilia were out there."

The virtual museum includes all manner of items, including golf apparel such as shoes, hats and bibs.

Mr Dempster noted his most prized possession is a scorecard from the USA PGA championship in 1960 - a tournament won by Jack Nicklaus two years later - which has been signed by Ben Hogan.
