Golf fashion pundit discusses perfect pant lengthA golf fashion pundit has examined the issue of the length of golf trousers.

Writing for the Khaki Crusader golf apparel blog, columnist Sean Hotchkiss claimed that he is confounded by the amount of "sloppy slacks" which are worn by professional players.

He praised the golf clothing of American golfer Johnathan Byrd, noting that his efforts in the trouser department at a recent tournament were "ideal".

Mr Hotchkiss highlighted the way in which Byrd's trousers "loiter" gently around the top of his footwear.

He warned golf fashion enthusiasts not to be fooled by the "traditional styling" of the 32-year-old, noting that any player who takes to the fairways in pants of the wrong size is "going to look stupid".

Mr Hotchkiss also claimed that the right kind of golf trousers can make a person seem taller.

Earlier in the month, the Camden Advertiser spoke to local professional Luke Higgins, who noted the increasing uptake of moisture-wicking shirts and trousers among many Australian professionals and amateurs.
