Youngsters will influence golf fashion in the future.
Published: 01 November 2011
Young players are likely to play a major part in the golf fashion of the future and three promising up and coming stars have been tipped to go far.PGA professional Scot Duffy has earmarked a trio of 11 to 14-year-olds from Aintree Golf Centre as potential stars in the making, the Liverpool Daily Post reports.
The young golf apparel fans could therefore be very influential when it comes to the style of clothing seen on fairways in the years to come.
Mr Duffy plumped for Declan Binstead, Lewis Murphy and Hollie Muse as his ones to watch and Declan's father David said of his son: "He would play every day of his life if he could. Everything except his studies have gone by the board for golf."
The three youngsters all hope for a career in the 18-hole game and Mr Duffy - who began playing golf himself at the age of 13 at West Lancashire Golf Club - believes each of them could have stardom awaiting them.
