Famous player John Daly is set to make golf news by headlining and playing in a charity event for a children's hospital in Peoria.

John Daly is set to be seen in his bright golf apparel later this year when he headlines and plays in a charity tournament.Daly will take part in the tournament, which can include 36 players, to help raise money for the Children's Hospital of Illinois in Peoria, said Pantagraph.com
The competition will be held in September at The Den, Fox Creek Golf Course.
Wes Johnson, who is organising the event in Bloomington-Normal, said that Daly loves children and added: "He'll do anything for kids."
Two places remain, for $5,000 each, to play in a foursome with Daly at the tournament.
Daly will reportedly visit the children in the hospital and will also perform in a concert after the event.
According to Daly's website, he is a songwriter and has recorded an album called My Life.
Guests on the album include Willie Nelson and Johnny Lee.
