In golf news that may be of interest to those with a keen eye for golf fashion, club manufacturer Forgan has unveiled its new TP Tour Precision putters. The brand's new line-up has been developed with input from Ian Woosnam and DJ Russell, the TP-1 model engineered to provide more forgiveness for off-centre shots and to help players improve their alignment techniques.
Moreover, a special enhanced blade design has been afforded to the TP-2 product, which seeks to combine the benefits of both a blade and a larger mallet putter.
The TP-3 offering, on the other hand, has been described by the maker - which has been in operation since 1860 - as "a putter purist's dream", which boasts an "ageless, classic" shape.
Each of the clubs are priced at £29.99, a price made possible by the company's efforts to cut out wholesale-to-retail margins and the marketing costs involved in the endorsement of Tour-level players.
