Published: 09 August 2011
In golf news that may be of interest to those who follow golf fashion, clubmakers Forgan of St Andrews has unveiled a new set of irons. The clubs - a combination hybrid set called iHy - are aimed at improving a player's consistency and accuracy when out on the course.
These products are replacing the "difficult-to-hit" three to six long irons with rescue clubs of a high quality.
Simon Millington, chief executive officer of Forgan - which was established more than 150 years ago in 1860 - noted: "Throughout our history, we've been successful for continually innovating and building clubs that meet the needs of golfers. The iHy set continues to break the mould."
The 3-SW Forgan iHy set - which also features top grade stainless steel 7-SW irons with cavity backs and wide soles - is available in both right and left hand models, while a number of custom-fit options have also been developed.
