The son of Glenmuir golf apparel fan Paul Lawrie could be on course to bolster his career should he perform well at the Scottish Boys Under-16s Championship.Craig Lawrie will be competing in the tournament - being held in Forfar - today (July 5th) and the following two days against a number of other young next-generation Scottish players, the Scotsman reports.
The 15-year-old recently reached the third round of the Scottish Boys Championship earlier in the year and will be hoping to push on from this performance and impress in his golf apparel.
On that occasion, he had taken one of the title favourites all the way to the final green - and his father Paul will be keen to see if his boy can match that feat this time around.
And it appears Craig may be able to cheer his dad on in return later this week, as Lawrie recently declared himself fit enough to compete in the Barclays Scottish Open despite an injury scare.
