Leisurecorp is believed to want to extend its contract with the European Tour by another couple of years and Colin Smith, director of sales and marketing at the company, said he is hopeful the competition will remain where it is.
The industry figure added: "Jumeirah Golf Estates is a good host, so there is no reason right now to look beyond it as a venue."
This year's Race to Dubai contest sees 52 tournaments held in 29 different locations, including courses in the Kingdom of Bahrain and Malaysia.
