Some of the game's top players will be sporting golf apparel in South Africa during January 2012 as the country is to host a prestigious competition.It has been confirmed that the second stage of the European Tour's Volvo Golf Champions event will be held in Fancourt after political unrest in Bahrain resulted in the decision being made to relocate the tournament.
European Tour competitors who have been victorious at an event this year have been invited to bring along their golf apparel and participate in the contest.
One such player hoping to perform well on the fairways is Paul Casey, who said he is looking forward to starting his year at the location.
Casey - who turned professional in 2000 and now resides in both the UK and the US - added: "I think that the news that the Volvo Golf Champions is heading to South Africa will be very well received by the players."
