Golf news: The World Cup has been won by the US team.

The US golf team shone in their golf clothing as they collected the sport's World Cup trophy for the first time since 2000.Matt Kuchar and Gary Woodland hit six birdies as they scored a closing 67 to help the nation win the contest by two shots.
The country overtook Ireland - whose players were Rory McIlroy and Graeme McDowell - at the top of the leaderboard, while England and Germany both finished strongly to earn a joint-second placing.
Kuchar said: "You think of all the sporting events and you think of all the teams that become world champions and in golf there are not that many opportunities to be world champions."
He added it feels great to not only represent his country at golf, but to also triumph on such a big stage.
In 2007, Glenmuir golf apparel wearer Colin Montgomerie - who has won the European Tour Golfer of the Year award on four occasions - lifted the trophy along with fellow Scot Marc Warren.
