Hunter Mahan has revealed he likes to be different in his dress sense when he is not wearing golf apparel. The American player, speaking to NBC Sports' Pro Golf Talk, added that in his down time he likes to make a fashion statement.
"I [don't] want to wear a blue blazer and khaki pants [and I don't] want to blend in with all the other guys," Mahan observed.
While those who watch golf will be used to seeing the Ryder Cup star in fashionable golf shirts, he continued by saying that he "can't wear [them every] day".
Mahan, who is currently ranked number 18 in the world, will be looking to perform well at the FedEx St Jude Classic.
Starting on Thursday (June 9th), world number two Lee Westwood will be hoping to successfully defend his title from last year, a result that earned him his first US victory in some 12 years.
