Lee Westwood has given his golf shirt up for auction.A number of the game's top players have made contributions - including offering up their golf apparel - to a charity auction in Thailand.

The fundraiser was held to benefit flood relief in the south-east Asian country, which was hit by torrential downpours earlier in the year.

Among the professionals offering their services were Darren Clarke, Sergio Garcia, John Daly, Ryo Ishikawa, Charl Schwartzel and Lee Westwood - whose golf shirt was one of a number of items up for grabs.

The event was held ahead of the Thailand Golf Championship, a tournament bringing to an end the Asian Tour season for 2011.

Schwartzel - who turned professional in 2002 and is from Johannesburg, South Africa - said he was delighted to be a part of the initiative, noting: "Any time I can help towards a good cause, I'll try my best to help. I gave a couple of items and I'm happy to do it."
