A book has been promoted to players seeking golf fashion tips.

Players seeking inspiration for their golf fashion choices have been advised to check out The Golf Book by Sports Illustrated.Writing in the Chapeau Noir golf fashion blog, Mike McAllister claimed that when he is running short of ideas for golf clothing, he often turns to Google Images.
However, he claimed that it is sometimes preferable to use a low-technology alternative and promoted The Golf Book as a great source of inspiration during the winter months.
"The Golf Book is an excellent anthology of golf style, although this was surely not the primary intent of the editors at Sports Illustrated," said Mr McAllister.
He went on to praise the style indexes displayed by "players from bygone eras" and made particular note of golfers such as Ben Hogan, Byron Nelson, Gary Player and Bobby Jones.
In an earlier blog post for the website, Mr McAllister claimed that golf apparel can make a great last minute gift for fans of the sport.
