An Asheville entrepreneur has opened a new women's golf clothing store.

A new shop dedicated to women's golf clothing has opened in Asheville, North Carolina.Local entrepreneur Connie Porter has opened the outlet, named Connie's Country Club Casuals in the city's downtown area, the Citizen-Times reports.
The owner claims her aim with the store is to provide more options for ladies, who are often confronted with a limited range of products in this field.
"You go to places like Dick's (Sporting Goods) or Nevada Bob's, and they have very small sections for women who play golf," Ms Porter said.
She went on to reveal that her research indicated a lack of stores catering for women's golf fashion in North Carolina and detailed her wide range of products, which include socks, visors and gloves.
Attire specialist Glenmuir recently released its summer range for 2011, which features a number of products aimed at women who enjoy playing golf, as well as offerings for men and junior players.
