Stars of American football - including Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow - will be wearing golf clothing when they compete in a celebrity tournament.

A number of stars from the world of American football will be swapping their shoulder pads for golf apparel when they take to the fairways for a special event this week.Competitors including Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow - who was born in 1987 and stands six ft three inches tall - are to take part in the American Century Celebrity Golf Tournament, Predominantly Orange reports.
The fundraiser is being held in Lake Tahoe, Nevada and will see players from a number of NFL teams taking to the course.
These include Jared Allen, Matt Cassel, Jim McMahon, Jerry Rice and Aaron Rodgers.
John Elway, meanwhile, will be appearing in the tournament for the 22nd time in a row, having participated in the event's first edition.
The vice-president of football operations for the Denver Broncos has finished in the top ten of the contest ten times, while also finishing joint-second twice.
