Pink golf clothing was to be seen in abundance at a charity match aiming to raise money for breast cancer research.Participants embraced all things pink for the annual Golf Fore the Cure tournament, including golf apparel, balloons, wigs and even a golf cart, Gulf Islands Driftwood reports.
The prize for being one of the 'pinkest persons' at the event was handed to Jehanne Kirwin and Elaine Shaw, who decorated their buggy with an array of flowers in the hue.
Over $6,000 (£3,670) was raised on the day, which saw players take part in an array of activities, including a putting contest and safest drive competition.
More than 60 ladies were involved in the field and each enjoyed a complimentary breakfast.
Mafalda Hoogerdyk of Salt Spring Insurance Services said: "I'm so pleased to be able to support Golf Fore the Cure and especially for such a worthy cause. I look forward to next year."
Events such as these are run across the US and those involved have raised a total of more than $3.2 million to aid the fight against breast cancer.
