Craig Warren has been given the green light to wear Union Jack golf apparel despite first being told otherwise.

A golfer from the West Midlands has been permitted to wear outlandish golf apparel at a course in Cheshire.Craig Warren was initially told to cover up his Union Jack-themed trousers while playing at Macdonald Portal Club in Tarporley - but the organisation has since changed its stance on the garments, the Liverpool Echo reports.
Mr Warren bought the trousers for £200 from Saville Row - a region of London renowned for its fine tailoring - and was shocked when he was told the golf clothing was not allowed at the venue.
"The starter told me to put on my rain trousers and when I refused [he] said my trousers were inappropriate and I shouldn't wear them next time," he explained.
Mr Warren - who is a member of Stockbridge Village Golf Society - said he was only allowed to play half of his round before having to go and change into clothing deemed more suitable.
