Britons who are planning on going on a golfing holiday in the near future but are unsure about what types of golf apparel to take with them have been given some advice by the Golf Channel.Writing for the Golf Travel Insider section of the programmer's website, Mike Bailey suggested that golf clothing that is not too thick could be a good idea for those hoping to tee off in the sun.
"You want plenty of light clothing. Light colors, microfibres and a good hat will serve you well," he added.
In addition, he explained that those heading on a golf holiday outside of the summer months should be wary of dipping temperatures.
Players should make sure they are prepared, Mr Bailey said, by packing a few golf sweaters and a good pair of golf trousers.
Those hoping to take a break in the near future might want to consider going on to Your Golf Travel's website, which offers trips to some of the best resorts in the world.
