Rory McIlroy has sported red golf clothing while playing the game on top of a famous skyscraper in Dubai. The world number three showed off both his golf fashion and skills when he attempted to hole shots from a man-made bunker on the Jumeirah Burj Al Arab helipad, the Daily Mail reports.
Overlooking the whole of Dubai, the player chipped on to the synthetic green in a red golf shirt, white trousers and white cap.
Hotel staff looked on as the competitor tried a number of shots from the high vantage point - where one over-hit punt would have seen the ball dropping hundreds of feet below.
McIrloy, who hails from Holywood in Northern Ireland and turned professional in 2007, had a great view of the city from the circular structure, which also played host to tennis legends Andre Agassi and Roger Federer as they pitted their wits against one another on an imitation tennis court in 2005.
