Sean Connery may want to go shopping for new golf apparel if he takes up an offer from Donald Trump and wants to look the part.The tycoon has claimed he would love the former James Bond star - who featured in the 007 flicks Diamonds are Forever and You Only Live Twice, among others - to open his new complex in Scotland, which he claimed will be the best course in the world.
Trump landed in Aberdeen on a private jet to visit the 1,400-acre Menie Estate - and his third wife Melania will be joining him at the location for the first time.
"My wife in particular wanted to see the site. She is coming in from Paris. She plays a little bit of golf," he explained.
Trump said he would like to see both Connery and Alex Salmond, the first minister of Scotland, attending the cutting of the ribbon at the venue, which is due to open its doors next July.
