Be bold with golf fashionOne style source has suggested that people should let out their creative side when they pick their golf apparel to head out onto the links.

Speaking to the Scotsman, chapeaunoirgolf.com writer Mike McAllister explained that people may wear the same sort of thing every day in the office, but, come Saturday, they can wear what they please in terms of golf clothing.

"Golf gives people a platform on which to express their personality a bit more freely than they can in most other situations," he was quoted as saying.

Mr McAllister gave the example of a pair of orange golf trousers, which may not be the most appropriate garment for a meeting, but players may look forward to wearing such a thing at the weekend.

In his view, it could even help people's performance, since he suggested that individuals will feel good if they are looking stylish and perhaps play better.

One professional who never ducks an opportunity to sport bizarre golf clothing is John Daly, who wore several strange sets of golf trousers during The Open last weekend.
