Bethany College golf team removed their golf clothing for a controversial photograph.

Players on Bethany College golf team have been suspended after removing their golf apparel before posing for a group photograph. The members began the shoot wearing all their golf clothing, but thought it would be a good idea to strip naked - with strategically held clubs hiding their modesty, Kansascw.com reports.
Senior team competitor Jac Hiscock said the episode was only meant as a joke, noting: "We all have our shirts off, our shorts to ankles and we are holding golf clubs in front covering up our male parts."
However, the suspension came about after the image was displayed online with the name of the school - which is located in Kansas, US and was founded in 1881 - shown in the caption.
The institute punished the players by banning them from competing in the first three conference tournaments, which could mean their season is effectively finished before it begins.
