Trolley batteries could prove popular among golf gift fans.
Published: 10 January 2012
Those looking to buy golf gifts for lovers of the 18-hole game may find a new trolley battery is ideal for those who enjoy using a vehicle to make their way around the course.Caddycell, which sells its products through distributors, has introduced its CaddyCell Lithium - a pack that is more than 75 per cent lighter than a standard lead acid product and can be lifted with just one finger.
The charger is able to power an electric trolley for up to 27 holes on a course and is the same size as a standard trolley battery.
It is hoped the pack will prove a lot safer than previous battery forms, while also delivering more resistance and greater reliability.
The product might therefore be useful for golf apparel wearers looking to use a trolley around a course in order to reserve their energy for when it comes to striking the ball.
