Waterproof golf apparel may be required in Singapore.Waterproof golf clothing is likely to feature at the Barclays Singapore Open, as the tournament has been affected by heavy rainfall.

Competitors may therefore have been wise to pack golf apparel suitable for the wet conditions in order to keep them dry and comfortable when hitting the fairways.

Play was stopped at the competition today (November 11th) due to the outbreak of a thunderstorm, with James Morrison sitting at the top of the leaderboard when the rains came.

The Englishman went to 11 under par after picking up two shots over 14 holes, which took him ahead by two from the Italian Edoardo Molinari, who had been the overnight pace setter.

Other players participating in the tournament in their golf apparel include Anthony Kim of the US, British Open victor Louis Oosthuizen and South African Ernie Els - who has won three major championships, two world golf tournaments and seven world matchday titles in his career.
