Sales of golf clothing could rise over the next few months as a result of the number of top competitions taking place in the region.

There could be a spike in demand for golf clothing in Wales, since the country is poised to host a series of top level competitions.As well as the Ryder Cup in October - with Glenmuir confirmed as an official Ryder Cup supplier - the nation is also hosting the Celtic Manor Wales Open as part of the European Tour this week, while Ashburnham is staging the Ryder Cup Wales Open PGA Championship later in the month.
This latter contest could be the perfect platform for a future champion to step up, according to host PGA professional for the event Martin Stimson.
He added: "We've had a lot of prestige events down here recently including the National Championship last year and of course it's been great to be associated with Ryder Cup Wales."
With the quantity of top level golf being played in Wales over the next few months, demand for golf clothing could be set for a surge in demand, particularly when the Ryder Cup takes place from October 1st to 3rd.
