Adam Scott and Geoff Ogilvy 'are golf fashion icons'The golf fashion of Australian players Geoff Ogilvy and Adam Scott has been praised by one pundit.

Writing for the Khaki Cruasder golf apparel blog, Sean Hotchkiss hailed the two golfers' attire and claimed that "this is where golf clothing should be trending".

"I hope companies continue to produce golf shirts that are free of any sort of sheen and look cool and elegant," he said.

Mr Hotchkiss went on to claim that he is also a fan of the cut and sewn collar trend, stating that it adds to the versatility of golf apparel.

He also revealed his love for chest pockets, despite the fact that many clubs hate them "for embroidery reasons".

Mr Hotchkiss predicted that as the influence of sportswear becomes more apparent in the golf fashion world, shirts with a "washed" look will become increasingly popular.

This follows news that Geoff Ogilvy may have to drop out of the Tournament of Champions following a finger injury sustained while on holiday in Hawaii.
