India's Arjun Atwal looked stylish in his nifty golf apparel as he took the lead at the Wyndham Championship yesterday (August 19th).With sporadic rain at the Sedgefield Country Club course, many thought players would need to break out the golf waterproofs. However, Atwal went with a simple golf clothing combo.
The 37-year-old chose an easygoing white golf shirt, with a matching golfer's cap to top it off.
His khaki golf trousers and white golf shoes rounded off his outfit and showed off his keen golf fashion sense.
Atwal got off to an encouraging start, matching the course record held by Carl Pettersson with a 61 at the par-70 course.
It was a welcome return to form for the Indian, who lost his Tour card last year following a shoulder injury from weight-lifting.
The 37-year-old turned professional in 1995, following a highly successful run as an amateur. His expansive career has seen him become the first Indian to play in a PGA Tour as well as being the first to secure a victory in the European Tour.
