Two-time Ladies European Tour event winner Becky Brewerton has made her first ever hole in one while sporting a sleek red-and-white striped ladies' golf shirt.Complementing her slick golf apparel with a white cap and subdued golf trousers, Brewerton pulled off the spectacular shot on the 12th hole at Royal Birkdale during last weeks Women's British Open.
The Welsh golfer said the five-iron shot "felt great" all the way down the line before falling around three feet short of the hole.
She said: "We moved up a club and it came off perfect. It was straight on line and holed at the pin all the way."
Brewerton went on to finish the day one under par with 217 but despite the hole in one, she still lost out to Taiwan's Yani Tseng, who pulled off an eagle three at the final hole and went on to win the event.
Before turning professional in 2003, Brewerton enjoyed a highly successful amateur career in which she topped a number of events including the Welsh Ladies Championship.
