American golfer Brian Gay revealed the depths of his fixation with golf fashion in a recent interview.Speaking to the PGA Tour's golf fashion insider The Man In The Black Hat, the Texan golfer noted that his sponsor does not "script" the clothes he wears on the field.
He also explained that "look good, feel good, play good" has always been his motto and revealed the importance he placed on his golf clothing.
"My sense of style definitely came from parents who were always well dressed growing up. Since I can remember, I have always been extremely picky about how I look," Gay said.
In a previous golf fashion column for the PGA, Ryan Moore also revealed how much emphasis he places on looking good on the course.
Gay went on to claim that he was largely unaware of the growing community following surrounding the golf apparel sported by professional golfers.
